I love this Southwest Ranch Dip that combines all the flavors people love in Ranch dip with slightly-spicy Southwest flavor notes. And I serve it with sweet mini-pepper scoops for a low-carb version of chips and dip that’s crunchy and tasty!

Years ago I went on a trip to Rhode Island to visit my friend Tia, and she served me a type of purchased Southwest Ranch Dip that I went crazy over. But when I got home I couldn’t find her dip in any stores in Utah, so I improvised on Grandma Denny’s Homemade Ranch Dip and came up with my own recipe for a ranch dip with Southwestern flavors.

This was in the very early days of the blog and, and I’ve been making it ever since. And when I took the photos you see here, I made the ranch dip with Southwest flavors, scooped it up with my favorite Sweet Mini-Peppers, and took a few photos to share.

This was well-received as a crunchy snack and the dip eaten with the sweet mini-pepper scoops are very low in carbs! If you have family members who aren’t into low-carb, I think Fritos Scoops would also be a great vehicle for delivering this fun take on Ranch Dip into your mouth. And when you want food for watching sports or movies, this is a perfect option for something different; hope you will try it!
